New managers at Reval Hotel Group

The Reval Hotel Group has appointed Heikki Vanhanen as its new CEO.

New CEO of the Reval Hotel Mr. Vanhanen, who has been Country Manager of Latvia since 2003 and General Manager of the Reval Hotel Latvija in Riga since 2000, took up his new position on the 1st of April 2007. He succeeds Karl Otto Skogland.
Before joining the Reval Hotel Group, Mr. Vanhanen was General Manager of the Scandic Hotel Marski in Helsinki, Finland from 1993-2000. Prior to that, he was a General Manager of several hotels of the Restel Hotel Group in both Turku and Tampere, Finland. Mr. Vanhanen is a graduate of Cornell Universityʼs General Managerʼs Programme, and has also spent a year on a management exchange programme in the United States.

In addition, on 1st of January 2007 the Reval Hotel Group appointed Carl Kjellberg as its new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Kjellberg was previously General Manager for several hotels from the Radisson SAS hotel chain in Sweden, Norway and Latvia. He succeeds Helina Tuvike, who will stay with the Reval Hotel Group as Director of E-Commerce and Revenue Management.
