Reval Hotel Olümpia opens The Body Shop® Ladies Floor

Reval Hotel Olümpia, in cooperation with The Body Shop ® , one of the world’s leading producers of cosmetic products, today opens its unique women’s floor . “The Body Shop® Ladies Floor” has been designed to include all the little details that cater for the wishes of the Olümpia’s female guests.
The 22 rooms on the hotel’s 15th floor now at the disposal of its female clients, were recently redesigned as part of the 110 room renovation project at a cost of 60 m Kroons.

As Tiina Reijonen, Reval Hotel Olümpia’s Managing Director, points out the influence of women in the world of tourism cannot be underestimated, and the proportion of female clients at the hotel has increased noticeably during the last 2 years. Reval Hotels recognise a woman’s right to comfort and convenience while travelling, and so decided to change a whole floor of the hotel to make it as pleasant as possible for women. The new concept gives women the opportunity to travel with less weighty bags, because everyday cosmetics normally carried in make-up bags are provided in the rooms.

The Body Shop® was chosen to supply the cosmetic products in the rooms because of the quality of its products and also due to the company’s fundamental values. Further, The Body Shop® goods are highly rated and much loved by women and so we are sure that offering its products will not only be a pleasant surprise for guests but also add real value to their stay.

Timo Valla, the head of The Body Shop® in the Baltic States, added that the project is a first for his company too. Nowhere else in the world has The Body Shop® cooperated with a hotel by supplying a special floor with products and having the floor named after it.

“One of our fundamental values is empowerment, expressed in English as "Activate Self Esteem", meaning that we try to support women in their self-development. Travelling provides a good opportunity to apply the principle, when women have a little more time for themselves.”, explained Timo.

The design of the new women’s floor, The Body Shop®Ladies Floor, was overseen by Norwegian interior designer, Ingvar Aavik who has previously designed the Olümpia’s Lobby and Suites.

Special features of The Body Shop® Ladies Floor:
Guests of the ladies floor will find fresh fruit and a wide selection of women’s magazines in several languages waiting for them in the lobby outside the lifts. The rooms themselves feature high quality Jensen beds and a “pillow menu” giving the choice of 4 different types of pillow to cater for every need, and of course fresh flowers to welcome the guests. Ladies will also find special padded clothes hangers, bathrobe and slippers. Drinking water and tea and coffee making facilities are always available. All the rooms on the floor come with an iron and an umbrella. Guests of the ladies’ floor will also have the Reval Hotel Olümpia’s Fitness Centre, including gym, sauna and pool at their disposal for the whole day. All rooms also feature WiFi and free Pay TV.

With the help of The Body Shop® the bathrooms have been filled with a special selection of the company’s cosmetics including; face cleanser, toner, face cream , body scrub, body and foot lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bath salts. Apart from the cosmetics, each bathroom is equipped with a cosmetic towel, wooden comb, cordless hairdryer, adjustable make-up mirror, weighing scales and, in addition to the shower, an extra hand-shower.
