The Old Town:

A few blocks from the Reval Hotel Latvija, and across the park from the Reval Hotel Rīdzene, the older part of the city is a striking blend of medieval, Art Nouveau, and every era between. Among the churches and museums, many cobbled squares invite you to sit and watch the world go by.

Museum of Riga's History and Navigation:
Tucked into the cloisters of the Dome Cathedral, also well worth a visit, this museum reminds you of the importance of Riga’s port in the history of international trade.

Latvia National Opera:
Opera in Riga dates back to the eighteenth century, when Mozart’s operas were performed as new works. Now the fine building also houses the national ballet company.

The New Riga Theatre
The New Riga Theatre is a professional repertory theatre that provides innovative art corresponding to the requirements of the independently-thinking contemporary spectator both in its content and form.

Cinema Parex Plaza
Parex Plaza is one of the most contemporary film theatres in the Eastern Europe and the second largest in the Northern Europe. There are 14 halls in the film theatre, located on two stories of the building, two balconies (total 3016 seats) and several cafes.
