Vilnius Cathedral
Built in the 15th century on the site of what is thought to be the first Christian church in the country, the cathedral houses the sarcophagus of St. Casimir, the patron saint of Lithuania and is considered one of the country's national treasures.
Hill of Three Crosses
Said to symbolize Lithuanian mourning and hope, the crosses are tied to an ancient legend of seven Franciscan monks who were crucified on this spot for their faith. A lovely view of the Old Town can also be seen from the hill.
KGB Museum
Chilling and sometimes brutally grim, this museum gives an intimate glimpse of the dark side of the Soviet occupation. Apart from the more traditional displays, the prison is still open to visitors - including the torture chambers.
