Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is on Estonia’s Northern coast on the Gulf of Finland. A natural meeting point between East and West, Tallinn has been a trading port for many centuries, and was a major city in the medieval Hanseatic League. Tallinn's Old Town, one of the best examples to be seen in Europe today, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Modern Tallinn is a dynamic business city, and its tall glass and steel buildings are signs that it continues to grow and develop as an international centre for commerce, leisure and shopping. One third of Estonia’s population lives in Tallinn.
